O Trabalho is the tendency in the PT associated with the international Lambertist current, formerly headed by Pierre Lambert of the French organization, Parti Communiste Internationaliste. Milton Temer, federal deputy for Rio de Janeiro, was the candidate for PT president supported by all the different left currents in the party.
